Word to PDF

Convert Word documents to high-fidelity PDFs ready to share or submit.

Why send a PDF instead of a Word file

A PDF looks the same on every device, can't be accidentally edited, and is what most application portals and universities ask for. Converting is the last step before you submit or share.

How it works

  1. Upload a .docx, .doc, .odt or .rtf file.
  2. FilePro renders it with a full office engine, including fonts, tables, images, headers and footers.
  3. Download the PDF. Your upload is deleted as soon as the conversion finishes.

Frequently asked questions

Will my fonts look the same?

Common fonts are embedded as they appear. If you use an unusual font, embed it in Word (File → Options → Save) for an exact match.

Do tracked changes and comments appear?

The PDF shows the document as it currently displays. Accept or reject tracked changes first if you don't want them visible.

Is there a size limit?

Files up to your plan's limit: 10 MB on Free, up to 500 MB on Premium.
